Seongbuk Museum of Art

Seongbuk Museum of Art opened in 2009 in Seongbuk-dong, a neighborhood ringed by Bugaksan Mountain where many artists have lived and worked. Admission is free. Its rotating exhibitions focus on local artists and on Korean modern and contemporary art since the 1950s, and it runs educational programs. The museum has a main building, a street gallery and three annexes, one of them a children's art museum.
