About this place

The 63 Building is a 249-meter tower on Yeouido, clad in glass coated with 24-carat gold that reflects red, gold and silver at sunset. It was built for the 1988 Olympics. Its aquarium closed in 2024, but financial companies still have their headquarters here, and floors 57-59 hold Japanese, Chinese and Western restaurants with Han River views. The glass elevators climb 460 meters per minute, and a ride takes 25 seconds.
