About this place
Suraksan Mountain is a 637-meter peak in northern Seoul, known for its rock formations and three waterfalls: Geunnyu, Eunnyu and Ongnyu. The trails look out over Seoul, and rock climbing sections have safety cables. Temples dating from the Silla and Joseon dynasties sit in its valleys. Several marked trails start near subway stations; royal azaleas cover the ridges in spring, and the leaves turn in autumn.
