Nowon Culture Street

Nowon Culture Street is a pedestrian entertainment street near Nowon Station in northeast Seoul, created by the government. Its entrance, modeled on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, carries sculptures of musicians, B-boys and performers. Multi-story restaurant buildings, karaoke bars, low-priced shops and street art line the way, and outdoor shows run regularly, including the Culture Street Art Festival on Saturday evenings with K-pop and traditional music. The top floor of the nearby Lotte Department Store looks out over the city.
