About this place

Dream Forest is a 66-hectare park in Gangbuk-gu on the former site of the Dreamland amusement park. Its 49.7-meter observatory tower, seen in the Korean drama IRIS, gives a 360-degree view of Bukhansan, Dobongsan and Suraksan and, on clear days, downtown Seoul and the Han River. The grounds hold Wolyeongji (Moon Reflecting Pond), Wolgwang (Moonlight Falls), seven waterfalls, deer enclosures, bamboo groves and wide lawns, with cherry blossom tunnels in spring and maples in autumn. The Dream Forest Art Center has performance halls, galleries, restaurants and cafes.
