Grandma's Haejangguk

Grandma's Haejangguk has served traditional hangover soup (haejangguk) for more than 50 years and is now run by the third generation. Its Korean name comes from Jangwi-dong, where it began; today it is in Beon-dong, Gangbuk-gu. The menu has just two items: haejangguk, a clear beef bone broth with ox blood pudding that is not very spicy, and sulguk, a beef stew pot for sharing. Bowls come with plenty of meat-covered bones to pick clean.
