About this place

Seoul Yangnyeongsi Herb Medicine Museum, in Seoul K-Medi Center, sits in Yangnyeongsi Market, where 70% of Korea's medicinal herbs are traded. Built on the site of Bojewon, a Joseon-era medical institution for the poor, it shows over 350 herbs, old medical texts such as the UNESCO-listed Donguibogam, and rhinoceros horn. Visitors can check their sasang body type on 3D holograms and interactive screens, soak their feet in seasonal herbs under a hanok pavilion, or make herbal bath salts and scent pouches. Admission is ₩1,000, with English audio guides; Jegi-dong Station is 5 minutes away.
