Jonggune Tongdak is a fried chicken shop in Dongdaemun-gu that makes old-school Korean-style whole chicken (tongdak) in the style from before the modern chains took over. Each chicken is cooked to order and fried twice in the market style, then served without heavy sauces. The shop does one thing: fried chicken with cold beer, or chimaek.
