Gamcho Sikdang

Gamcho Sikdang is a 38-year-old pork rib restaurant in the herbal medicine alleys of Kyungdong Market, near Jegi-dong Station. Unlike typical Korean BBQ, where you grill at the table, the cooks work outside over rows of coal briquettes (yeontan), and the ribs arrive pre-cut with the smoky taste Koreans call 'fire flavor'. Ribs are 16,000 won and come with simple banchan; grilled mackerel or hairtail is also on the menu. It has been featured on TV shows including Baek Jong-won's Top 3 Chef King.
