Hong Byeolgam-ne

Hong Byeolgam-ne is a pork belly restaurant in Junggok-dong with only 7 tables. Michelin three-star chef Ahn Sung-jae showed it on his YouTube channel as the local place where he takes visiting international chefs. Thick, fresh-cut samgyeopsal costs 15,000 won and comes with homemade banchan such as seasoned bean sprouts, mushrooms and fried eggs, plus house-made ssamjang and free doenjang stew. Waits of 1 to 2 hours are common, even on weekdays.
