Pieup Japanese Dining

Pieup Japanese Dining is an izakaya near Gunja Station, next to a hair salon. Its sign shows only one faded Korean letter, ㅍ (pi-eup). Seafood comes from Garak Market every day, and the handwritten menu changes, with golden sea bream, red tilefish, monkfish liver, sashimi, grilled fish and Japanese small plates. There are a few counter seats and two small tables; booking is by phone only, and the chef-owner suggests sake and sometimes sends out a free seasonal dish.
