Oncheonjip

Oncheonjip is a sukiyaki and shabu-shabu restaurant in Ikseon-dong, in a hanok designed like a Japanese hot-spring inn, about a 3 to 5-minute walk from Jongno 3-ga Station Exit 6. Every dining area looks onto the courtyard, an onsen-style garden with a pond, white gravel and a wood-fired brazier lit every day. Miso shabu-shabu arrives as stacked boxes of beef, vegetables and sauces, and there are also sukiyaki, mushroom shabu-shabu, minari yukjeon (beef pancakes with water dropwort) and tempura.
