Ishizue

Ishizue is a small izakaya in Gwangjin-gu, about 200 m from Exit 2 of Gunja Station, known for thick-cut sashimi and a long list of Japanese sake, plus shochu and whisky. Most seats are at the counter in a quiet room. Popular plates include assorted sashimi, ankimo (monkfish liver), grilled miso eggplant (nasu dengaku) and mackerel pressed sushi, with Ebisu on draft, and sake also comes by the glass. Each guest is expected to order at least one drink, and reservations go through Catch Table.
