HimchanGaetbeolNakji is an octopus and seafood restaurant near Gunja Station. The menu has mul-hoe (raw fish soup), yeonpo-tang (octopus hot pot) and "Himchan-kase", an omakase-style course with live octopus, sea snails, scallops and seasonal catches. The original branch is near Yangpyeong Market; the founders, a couple from Jangheung and Uljin, buy directly from suppliers in Yeosu and Goheung. The owner texts 300 regulars when special seasonal seafood comes in, and the restaurant has been on the TV show "Living Information Today".
