Geobugi Samgyeopsal

Geobugi Samgyeopsal, whose name means 'turtle pork belly', is a neighborhood barbecue restaurant in Junggok-dong, Gwangjin-gu. Chef Yoon Nam-no of the cooking show Culinary Class Wars has recommended it. Chilled domestic pork belly or pork neck goes on a thick, turtle-shaped grill with kimchi, scallion salad, bean sprouts and mushrooms, and a doenjang jjigae with tofu comes with the meal. Most diners finish with fried rice made on the same grill, and the room is loud and casual, like a street-food tent.
