Dapsimni Antique Art Market

Dapsimni Antique Art Market has 140 antique shops in six multi-story buildings, a 5-minute walk from Dapsimni Station (Line 5, Exit 1-2). Dealers moved here from Cheonggyecheon and Itaewon in the mid-1980s. Halls are stacked to the ceiling with Joseon-era ceramics, Buddhist statues, grandfather clocks, wooden furniture, inkstones, millstones, hairpins and folding screens, priced at 1,000 won and up into the millions. Building 5 has Chinese antiques, Buildings 2-3 have Korean household items, and the Jangan-pyeong buildings have Buddhist art.
