Seonyudo Park

Seonyudo Park is a water-themed ecological park on an island in Yeongdeungpo-gu, linked to the mainland by the arched Seonyugyo Bridge. It was built from a disused water purification plant, and parts of the plant remain: ivy covers concrete pillars in the Garden of Green Columns, and themed gardens fill the old sedimentation tanks. Aquatic plant gardens show natural water purification. The 110,400㎡ park also has moss-covered walls, exhibits on water ecosystems, and decks with views of the Han River and the Seoul skyline.
