Seolmaene

Seolmaene, in the basement of the Miseung Building near Apgujeong Station Exit 3, has served North Korean-style food in Apgujeong since 1993. The family-run kitchen is known for Pyongyang-style mandu jeongol, a dumpling hot pot with thick handmade dumplings of bean sprouts and pork in a clear broth. Tangpyeong-chae (mung bean jelly salad), spicy braised short ribs and bossam are also on the menu. Regulars of all ages come back.
