Ibuk Mandu

Ibuk Mandu has served North Korean-style Pyongyang dumplings since 1954 from a traditional Korean house in the back alleys of Mugyo-dong, near Seoul City Hall Station. One family has run it for three generations. Handmade dumplings filled with vegetables and meat come in clear beef broth, and the kimchi mari-bap (rice in kimchi broth) is tangy and sesame-scented. The house keeps its original recipes, a courtyard and vintage furniture, locals and office workers queue daily, and signs lead the way from No Brand Burger.
