Chinchikurin

Chinchikurin, whose name means "precious bamboo forest," is a tsukemen (dipping noodle) shop on the 2nd floor near Lotte Department Store in Seomyeon, Busan. The chef, a Korean-Japanese ramen master, studied ramen for 40 years. House-made noodles come cold with a hot dipping broth of katsuobushi (bonito flakes) and special soy sauce, and are meant to be dipped only briefly. Seating is at a bar, and the menu also has chashu ramen in pork bone and chicken broth, spicy tantan-men and gyoza.
