Ansan is a 296-meter mountain in Seodaemun-gu with a Joseon Dynasty beacon tower on its summit and a 360-degree view of the city. Its barrier-free wooden deck trail runs on gentle slopes through the forest. The 7km loop takes 2-3 hours. Bongwonsa Temple sits at the foot of the mountain, older Koreans work out at outdoor gyms along the way, and several subway stations are nearby.
