Songlimwon

Songlimwon is a 60-year-old Chinese restaurant in a quiet residential alley near Hansung University Station in Seongbuk-gu. Three generations of a family from Shandong Province have run it, cooking Korean-Chinese food since the 1960s. The room is small, with worn wooden tables. Classics such as jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and jjamppong are cheap, and the owners cook every dish themselves from recipes handed down in the family.
