Seoul Arts Center

Seoul Arts Center (SAC) is a five-building complex for performances and exhibitions at the foot of Mount Umyeon in Seocho District, near Nambu Bus Terminal. The Opera House is shaped like a gat, the traditional Korean bamboo hat. There are also a 2,500-seat Concert Hall, Hangaram Art Museum, a calligraphy museum and the World Music Fountain, which plays songs that visitors request. Home to the national ballet, opera and symphony orchestras, SAC holds over 1,500 performances a year, Broadway musicals and K-pop concerts among them, plus 100 exhibitions.
