Bangbae-dong Cafe Street has been a coffee street since the 1980s, running along Bangbae Jungang-ro between Isu Intersection and Dwitbeol Children's Park. The road was once a shortcut for drivers avoiding traffic jams. Dozens of independent coffee shops, French bakeries, restaurants and wine bars now sit between residential buildings in a quiet neighborhood, and some cafes serve weekend brunch in courtyards. Bangbae Station on Line 2 is close by.
