About this place
Jungrimjang Seolleongtang, near Chungjeongno Station, has made seolleongtang, ox bone soup, since 1972. The bones simmer for over 48 hours, giving a milky broth with an earthy aroma. Each 9,000 won bowl comes with beef slices and the rice already in, plus kimchi, and diners add salt, pepper and scallions themselves. The 50-year-old restaurant is recognized as Seoul Future Heritage and has been on TV.
