Gangdong KD Budae Jjigae

Gangdong KD Budae Jjigae is a second-generation family restaurant near Cheonho Station in Seongnaedong, Seoul. It makes budae-jjigae, the army stew that began during the Korean War, with ham, sausages, kimchi, tofu, vegetables and ramen noodles in a spicy broth. The kimchi is homemade and gives the stew a tangy taste close to kimchi-jjigae, clean and easy on the stomach. Portions are generous and prices reasonable.
