About this place

Cheonho Park was built in 1998 on the former site of the Pilot pen factory in Gangdong-gu. Its 880㎡ musical fountain runs water shows set to music, with colored lights, projections and mist, and children play in it in summer. Thousands of royal azaleas bloom each spring, and the Royal Azalea Festival is held every April. Around the grounds are the Haegong Public Library, named after independence activist Shin Ik-hee, an outdoor stage, basketball and Korean foot volleyball courts, and walking paths.
