About this place
Achasan Mountain (287m) in eastern Seoul is a 45-minute hike from the subway station, easy enough for beginners. From the mountain, the Han River, N Seoul Tower and Lotte World Tower are all in view at once. The mountain also has ancient Goguryeo fortress ruins. Achasan Ecological Park, connected to it, has a barefoot path on red clay, pine forests, butterfly gardens, wetlands, healing trails and nature programs.
