Bonjeon Hoetjip is a sashimi restaurant on Donggyo-ro near Mangwon Station. It serves thick-cut yellowtail (bangeo) in winter and flatfish all year, at reasonable prices. Side dishes include tempura, steamed egg, corn cheese, abalone and sea squirt, and the sashimi is eaten with crispy seaweed and a seasoned cabbage salad. Queues are longest in yellowtail season (November-March).
