Daemul Sanghoe

Daemul Sanghoe is a seafood omakase restaurant on a quiet residential street in Mapo, and its menu follows the season's catch. The chef-owner works with large wild-caught fish, such as a 13kg croaker or tuna, and pairs the courses with whiskey and sake. Diners sit at two large communal tables to watch the fish being prepared; dishes might include aged sashimi on minari (water parsley) or white fish with olive oil. Courses keep coming while your glass is full, and you can bring your own bottle.
