Yangcheon Park

Yangcheon Park, next to Yangcheon District Office, reopened in October 2020 after a renovation that replaced its asphalt with natural grass. Its spaceship-shaped playground doubles as an outdoor stage. Rainwater and groundwater run through a water circulation system of small streams, eco-ponds and mist fountains, and there are water play areas plus Kijit, an underground indoor play space for any weather. The glass-walled Book Shelter Library holds over 9,700 books, including children's books and adult fiction, and looks out on the playground.
