Songhwa Mural Market

Songhwa Mural Market is a traditional market in Gangseo-gu, near Ujangsan Station (Line 5), that has served local shoppers since the 1970s. Its name comes from artwork added in 2016, when 15 Eastern and Western paintings, including works by Jeong Seon and Shin Yun-bok, were hung along the arcade ceiling near its four gates. Stalls sell fresh vegetables, meat from local butchers, side dishes, dried seafood and fruit. There is paid parking, with a free 30-minute voucher on purchases above a set amount, and home delivery is free.
