War Memorial of Korea

The War Memorial of Korea is a free museum near Samgakji Station covering Korea's military history from ancient times through the Korean War. Six indoor halls hold more than 33,000 artifacts, multimedia displays, interactive combat exhibits and memorials to fallen soldiers from 16 UN nations, and there is a Children's Museum. Outdoors stand tanks, fighter jets and warships that visitors can board. The Brothers Statue, a South Korean and a North Korean soldier embracing, stands for hope of peaceful reunification, and a full visit takes at least 3 hours.
