Sancheon Maru is a Korean restaurant in the quiet alleys of Hongeun-dong, Seodaemun-gu. For over five years it has served hansik and hearty health food, such as nurungji baeksuk (whole chicken soup with scorched rice), soy-marinated crab and herb-infused samgyeopsal, at reasonable prices. The name joins "san" (mountain) from nearby Sanggol Village and "cheon" (stream) from Hongje Stream. Several floors hold as many as 130 guests, and it is close to Hongeun Elementary School and the Baekryeonsan hiking trails.
