Pyongyang Myeonok

Pyongyang Myeonok is a third-generation naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodle) restaurant in Jangchung-dong that has served Pyongyang-style noodles since 1985. The broth is a light beef broth, and this mild style is known as Jangchung-dong style. Boiled pork (jeyuk) and handmade dumplings without kimchi are also on the menu. It is listed in the Michelin Guide, locals line up even in summer, and it is 5 minutes from Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station.
