Somsa Shashlik

Somsa Shashlik is a family-run Uzbek restaurant in Seoul's Central Asian Quarter, on the 'Dongdaemun Silk Road' of Gwanghui-dong near Dongdaemun History & Culture Park. Its somsa are savory pastries baked in the tandoor and filled with beef, lamb or chicken; plov (pilaf) and shashlik kebabs are also on the menu, with prices starting at 3,500 won. The clay tandoor stands in the dining area, and you can watch bread bake on its walls. The staff speak Korean.
