Happy Home Restaurant is a family-run Nigerian restaurant in Itaewon, with a second-floor entrance near Itaewon Station. Dishes include fufu (a yam-based staple with a mochi-like texture), jollof rice (spicy tomato rice) and egusi soup (a stew of ground melon seeds, dried fish and meat). African music plays, eating with your hands is encouraged, and the Nigerian owners explain unfamiliar ingredients. It has been featured on Korean TV shows, and Seoul's Nigerian community eats here.
