Pohang Sikdang

Pohang Sikdang is a winter specialty restaurant in Jongno 3-ga, serving gwamegi (semi-dried Pacific saury) and seasonal seafood brought straight from Guryongpo harbor in Pohang. Gwamegi comes with fresh vegetables and spicy ssamjang. There is also a hidden-menu combo of assorted sashimi and octopus that regulars know to ask for. Warming soups are on the menu too, and the restaurant sits near pojangmacha (street food stalls).
