Hongmyeong

Hongmyeong is a Chinese-Korean restaurant in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, a 2-minute walk from Hakdong Station Exit 7. Locals line up for the gan-jjajang: black bean noodles stir-fried to order, with crunchy onions, a hint of wok flame and a fried egg on top. It became known through singer Sung Si-kyung's YouTube food show. Other dishes include nanjawanseu (flat pan-fried pork meatballs stir-fried with vegetables), chili shrimp, mensha (fried shrimp toast) and fried dumplings, and there is a wait at peak hours.
