Gonongsomeori Gomtang

Gonongsomeori Gomtang is an ox head soup (someori gomtang) and boiled beef (suyuk) restaurant in U-dong, Haeundae, near Dongbaek Station and the Lotte Apartment entrance. The milky-white broth simmers for hours and has no gamey taste. Ox head meat, tongue and tendon go into the soup, with kimchi and kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) on the side. The suyuk platter has several parts of the ox head, including tongue, with a soft gelatinous texture and traditional dipping sauces; portions are generous.
