Yeonnam-dong Jumak

Yeonnam-dong Jumak is a traditional Korean tavern in Yeonnam-dong, near Hongik University, cooking home-style food in the way of the old roadside inns. The best-known dishes are teollaegi sujebi, a hand-torn noodle soup with vegetables, and jjukkumi bokkeum, spicy stir-fried webfoot octopus. Banchan (side dishes) are refilled at a self-service station. Portions are generous, prices are low, and the room has wooden furniture and traditional Korean decor.
