Seonggwang Daedo

Seonggwang Daedo is a Hong Kong-inspired izakaya in a basement in Haebangchon, named after Hong Kong's Avenue of Stars. The lighting is dim, like a Hong Kong noir film. Grilled chicken neck with vegetables, crispy corn cheese balls and tantanmen ramen come in generous portions, with highballs and whiskeys to drink. Reservations take groups of up to 5, and vegetable sticks with a garlic-onion dip are on the house.
