Pureun Arboretum is an eco-friendly municipal arboretum, a 103,000㎡ 'ecology island' in Guro-gu near Hangdong Railway. More than 2,100 plant species grow across 25 themed gardens, among them British, French, Herb and Maze gardens. Entry is free. The site is wheelchair-accessible, with a forest education center, greenhouse exhibitions and a book cafe, and it connects to Hangdong Reservoir, where lotus flowers bloom; Onsu Station is a few minutes away.
