About this place

Philkyungjae is a hanjeongsik restaurant in Gangnam-gu that serves Korean royal court cuisine in a 500-year-old hanok. The house was once home to descendants of Prince Gwangpyeong, a son of King Sejong. Multi-course meals follow palace recipes, with dishes such as abalone porridge, bossam kimchi and beef tartare, and are served in private rooms surrounded by gardens and historic tombs. The restaurant is Michelin-recognized, and courses cost 70,000 to 280,000 won.
