Moccozie

Moccozie is a basement tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) restaurant near Songpa Station that has been open for 34 years. A family recipe passed down through two generations mixes gochujang and black bean sauce for instant tteokbokki, which bubbles in pots of daily-made anchovy broth with add-ons such as noodles, dumplings and gimmari (fried seaweed rolls filled with glass noodles). The sunjjol puts chewy jjolmyeon noodles in a spicy soft tofu stew, and there is strawberry shaved ice. Celebrity autographs cover the retro walls, and the shop has been featured on TV food shows.
