Mapo Original Tteokbokki

Mapo Original Tteokbokki has sold street-style spicy rice cakes from a tiny corner shop since 1987. Queues of 30 minutes or more are common. A plate of long, chewy rice cakes in sweet-spicy gochujang sauce costs 3,000 won. The 'original set' adds sundae (blood sausage), kimbap, crispy tempura and fish cake soup to the tteokbokki, for under 10,000 won in total.
