Jungnangcheon Stream Path

중랑천 산책로

SightsJungnang-gu, Seoul

About this place

Jungnangcheon Stream Path runs more than 20 kilometers along the stream through northeastern Seoul, used by walkers, joggers and cyclists. In spring, canola flowers cover 5.15km of the bank between Jangpyeong and Wolleung Bridge, and in summer 40,000 roses form a tunnel at Seoul Rose Park, between Taeneung and Junghwa stations. Autumn brings silver grass, cosmos and sunflowers. Once polluted, the stream has been restored; the path passes through seven districts, and in winter migratory birds gather at the protected wetland where it meets the Han River.
