Gusuhan Agujjim

Gusuhan Agujjim has made agujjim (braised spicy monkfish) in Oncheonjang, near the traditional bathhouse district, for over 20 years, and it serves nothing else. Heat levels run 1 to 5, and the top level is hot enough to bring tears. The pot holds monkfish, intestines, bean sprouts and sea squirts in a red pepper sauce, with side dishes such as seasoned perilla leaves and pickled vegetables. A small portion starts at 28,000 won.
