Dongdaemun Market

Dongdaemun Market, established in 1970, is a fabric and textile market with more than 3,000 shops in four buildings, steps from Exit 9 of Dongdaemun Station's underground passage. Shops sell hanbok, wedding materials, fabrics, accessories and home textiles at wholesale prices. Entire floors are given over to hanbok shops, with classic and modernized styles and the materials and accessories to make them. Some merchants have traded here for over 50 years.
