Tae Guksu

Tae Guksu serves Thai boat noodles in Yeonnam-dong, a 10-minute walk from Hongik University Station. The minimalist room has bar-style seats. There are four main dishes: Taeguks (Thai meat noodle soup), Taegukmilk (Thai rice soup), bibim noodles (dry noodles) and Laeng Ssaep (braised ribs). The clam Taeguks comes in a clear broth made from fresh clams, with pork, fish cakes and wontons over egg or rice noodles, and diners season their bowls with fish sauce, sugar, chili powder and garlic-chili vinegar.
